Mark and the lads gave out certificates, DVD's and matchday tickets to watch the memorable 6-0 demolition of Wycombe Wanderers.

Mr Maguire said: "I found the Presentation Evening an inspiration, to see the faces of the kids as they collected their awards, and to see how the different learning environment and presence of the players has inspired such improvement in their education was humbling.

"It's an example of how important the link between sport and education is, and why we as a football club should do all we can to contribute to the Study Centre, which is already a great source of pride.

"Congratulations to Gary and his team for organising an ecellent event last night. The presentaion went very smoothly and it was evident that the 250+ present thoroughly enjoyed it.

"There was a lovely atmosphere in the room as proud parents and excited children enjoyed the occasion."

Pictuered winning the star prize, a signed County shirt, is Chloe from Woodley Primary School.
