The County Study Centre is, this week, the stage for an innovative media-based course involving forty pupils from St. John's, Cale Green and Woodley Primary Schools.

And, yesterday, (Oct 23), Gaz Owen, Adam Proudlock and Chris Adamson came along to lend their support to the module that uses professional footballers as positive role models.

With Channel M and Pure 107.8 FM also on hand to record the event, the three lads were put on the spot by the children who asked them a whole host of questions.

The pupils will then use this information to create Podcasts, Comic and Mini-Films in the Centre's cutting-edge, state-of-the-art facilities.

Other players set to support the course later this week are Anthony Pilkington, Ashley Williams, Anthony Elding, Adam Griffin, Michael Rose and Keith Briggs.

Study Centre manager, Gary Richards, said: "The course looks certain to be a huge success and I would like to thank all the County players for giving up their time to help us.

"I'd also like to thank Channel M and Pure 107.8 FM, not just for covering the course, but for also providing expert advice on a number of media issues."
