Rob, a former trainee at Edgeley Park, made his professional debut at 17 as a second-half substitute in County's 4-1 Championship defeat at Fulham on the 26th October 2000.
The talented defender then forced his way into the starting eleven and played the last nine games of the season and played a key role as we successfully avoided relegation to League 1.
Rob's impressive form didn't go unnoticed and he was selected to captain the England Under-20 side and he also attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
After making 117 league appearances for the Hatters he joined Blackpool for an undisclosed fee.
He stayed at Bloomfield Road for just one season before rejoining County the following summer.
Now playing right-back more than his preferred central defensive position he has passed the 200 senior appearance mark since returning to Edgeley Park.
