LOOKING FORWARD TO IT
Staines Town manager Steve Cordery has been doing a little bit of homework on County - and in particular eight-goal striker Anthony Elding - ahead of this Saturday's FA Cup first round clash at Edgeley Park.
Middlesex-based Staines, who currently sit in third place in the Ryman League Premier Division table, will make the journey to Cheshire this weekend keen to cause a mighty upset of course, and backed by around 500 travelling fans.
It's a day everyone connected with the Swans is relishing.
Cordery said: "We've taken a look at videos of Stockport, and they are a typically strong and direct Football League side.
"I will be wanting to pay particular attention to Anthony Elding. He is a good striker who I know from his non-league days.
"It's going to be a special day for us and we're all looking forward to it."
Staines secured their tie at Edgeley Park by winning at Blue Square National outfit Woking 1-0 in the final qualifying round thanks to Mark Nwokeji's strike.
Nwokeji is definitely Staines' danger man up front as he has already bagged 14 goals this season, including six in the FA Cup.
Goalkeeper Shaun Allaway is a former England under-19 international.
If a replay is needed it will take place at Town's Wheatsheaf Park on Tuesday, November 20 [7.45pm ko].
