Stockport County would like to remind fans that the Player of the Year awards will take place at the Gala dinner this Saturday evening.

We know it's late notice, but we feel holding the awards ceremony early helps Jim & Co. to prepare properly for our crucial forthcoming play-off semi-finals.

Guests should arrive at 8.00pm to sit down at 8.30pm for a three-course meal that consists of Fantail of Melon with Berry Coulis; Tender Slow-cooked Beef with an Ale Gravy and Roast Root Vegetables; Summer Fruit Pudding with Clotted Cream.

Tickets, priced at £30, can be obtained by mailing the County Commercial Team or calling them on 0161 286 8903.

In the meantime, vote now for nomination for Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year and Goal of the Season.
