Peter Ward was doubly-disappointed by Hereford United's victory over Wrexham on Tuesday night.

The 2-0 win not only extended the Bulls advantage over ourselves to four points, but it also sent Wardy's old club down into the Conference.

Speaking to stockportcounty.com he said: "I was disappointed with the result at Hereford because Wrexham had given them a lifeline with victory over Notts County, but it wasn't to be.

"The result didn't surprise me, though, because I always thought Hereford would have too much for them but I was disappointed to see Wrexham  lose their League status."
