Although more than 8,000 County fans left Edgeley Park feeling disappointed that Jim Gannon's men couldn't extend their incredible run of results against MK Dons, one Hatters' fan had a huge smile on her face.

The smile belonged to Elaine Blackshaw, from Davenport, who was the lucky winner of the special raffle we've been running all season for a brand-new Peugeot 107.

The car was very kindly donated by Robins & Day, the local dealership who, by a strange quirk of fate, Elaine has used to purchase vehicles over the last 15 years.

Speaking to Stockportcounty.com Elaine, who has followed County for more than 20 years, said: "When I heard my name announced I left the Cheadle End and went to ask a steward if I could go and check it out.

"When I realised that it really was me I just stood there and shook!"

Stockport County would like to thank everyone who purchased tickets and, of course, Robins & Day for their superb gesture.

All proceeds from the raffle will now go to our hugely successful Centre of Excellence.
