Stockport County are delighted to be able to welcome seven members of the record-breaking Stockport Boys side that shared the English Schools Trophy with Liverpool in 1948 for the first, and still, only, time when Darlington visit Edgeley Park on Saturday.

We are also delighted to welcome Gerry Tansey, uncle of County's Greg, Arthur Rowley and Ken Atherton from the Merseyside team, representatives from the Liverpool Schools FA and Peter Martin, captain of the Brighton Schoolboys side beaten by our local lads in the quarter-finals.

The Stockport boys returning to SK3 are Bryan Brennan, Doug Brown, Keith Goalen, Johnny Miller, Pete Staples, Johnny Tippett and Jeff Whitefoot.

The famous trophy will also be with us and you'll get the chance to see it during the half-time interval - please give the Boys an extra-special EP ovation when they make their appearance.

The reunion has caught the imagination of local and national media and the BBC will be featuring the schoolboy stars on Look North Tonight at 6.30pm.
