MCCALL PRAISES HATTERS
Bradford boss Stuart McCall heaped praise on County after the Hatters came from behind to deservedly beat the Bantams on Saturday afternoon.
County fell behind earlY in the second half, and totally against the run of play, when Peter Thorne scored from the spot.
But a flowing move involving man-of-the-match Jason Taylor and Shaleum Logan was expertly converted by Anthony Pilkington to level the scores.
Then EP erupted when Michael Rose brilliant curled a free kick past City's heroic goalkeeper Scott Loach for what proved to be the winning goal.
Reflecting on the defeat that all-but ruled out his side's slim chance of reaching the play-offs McCall said: "On our day we are no different to Rotherham, Chesterfield or Wycombe who are all up there but we're where we deserve to be - a mid-table team.
"I'm as much to blame as anyone for this season because I brought a lot of players to the club.
"Now it's up to me to bring in a better calibre who will give us the same performance as the likes of Stockport.
"Stockport were the best side we've played this season. They played some terrific stuff on a terrible park and in difficult conditions."
