With no relegation worries or promotion expectations Brentford, like ourselves to a certain extent, aren't under real pressure to achieve a positive result on Saturday.

Jim Gannon, though, isn't expecting a mundane end-of-season game when the Bees visit SK3.

Speaking to stockportcounty.com the County boss said: "You will be surprised because it will be a proper game. Football is football and when footballers cross the line they get stuck into the game.

"I don't think anyone walks around thinking 'this isn't important'. Once the tackles go in, and a few headers, and a goal then the heat will come into the game.

"I'm expecting a good atmosphere and a real buzz around Edgeley Park."
