Jim Gannon is delighted to have secured the signing of Stephen Gleeson from Wolves and hinted he could make another addition to his squad today.

Speaking exclusively to stockportcounty.com the County boss said: "Stephen is a player I've been wanting for several months.

"I think last time round he had a fantastic three months here and his quality lifted us around the training facility.

"And I think the fans got a glimpse of a quality player and I'm delighted to have him back.

"I think he'll be a great addition to the squad and the team over the next seven games."

The gaffer also revealed that he is hoping to add one more player to his promotion push before the transfer window closes later today (Mar 27).

"I've been constantly searching to strengthen us as I have to protect against injuries as I think there are one or two key areas where we are vulnerable and if the Board allow me then I'll strengthen," explained Jim.

"I think it's crying out that we bring in another striker and that's the main area we are looking at."
