A GREAT FUTURE
After flying in from Ireland where he'd been at the bedside of his poorly father, Jim Gannon admitted that his side's performance at Rotherham had lifted his spirits.
And the County boss also picked out hat-trick hero, Tommy Rowe, for special praise.
He said: "Tommy has got everything. Physically he's a supreme athlete with Premiership fitness. Technically he's excellent. Tactically he knows exactly how to play the floating winger role and mentally he's just been able to step up.
"What an accomplished performance from a 19-year-old and I suppose the only thing is that he's with a Second Division side so maybe the England scouts won't come looking at him.
"I've said before, and I've told him personally, I think he's got a great future."
