Jim Gannon is delighted that an agreement has bean agreed with Chester City to bring Kevin Ellison back to Edgeley Park.

Speaking to stockportcounty.com the County boss said: "Kevin is an outstanding athlete. He's very, very competitive with great mental strength.

"He's also a very skilful player who can play on the flanks or up top.

"He's the perfect type of attacking midfielder that we wanted because he can play anywhere across the front four.

"I'm delighted to be able to bring him in."
