A TOUGH GAME
Jim Gannon feels that his side need to match Dagenham's work ethic if County are to pick up any points from their first-ever game at Victoria Road.
Speaking to stockportcounty.com earlier today (Feb 1) before the team coach left for East London, the Hatters' boss said: "When you look at the League table, and look at our coming fixtures, then people might think they are winnable games because the teams are down at the bottom.
"But they are all showing good form at the moment. Dagenham are picking up wins, so are Wrexham, they are picking up points in every game now. Mansfield had a great win at the weekend.
"Everyone is going to have to step up a gear and I think Dagenham are stepping up a gear.
"They are a hard-working team and our reports tell us that, to a man, they are athletic and give everything to the team.
"We have to go down there and show the same spirit, and the same application, because if we don't we won't come away with anything. It's a tough game."
