Jim Gannon heaped praise on Anthony Elding after the inform striker hit his third goal in three games to take his season's tally to 13.

The County boss said: "Anthony has been exceptional in training and his attitude and work-rate are second to none.

"He's one of the best trainers at the club and one of the best athletes at the club.

"And what you always get out of Anthony is he works his socks off and he scores goals.

"He's done it again today and I'm delighted for him

"He wasn't playing well and he was low on confidence when we left him out but he's recovered well and he's seized upon his opportunity.
