BOSS SLAMS HIRD CHALLENGE
There were three incidents that concerned me today.
The first one concerned Gary Jones kicking Michael Raynes, which, according to the all officials, none of them seen.
I was quite surprised at that, and even the fourth official said he didn't see it.
But we were all looking at the two players coming together, and it was quite clear that Gary Jones has kicked Michael Raynes.
But the referee thinks that a chat is all that's needed in that situation.
Another incident involving Martin Butler and I think it was quite violent a challenge, dangerous.
If you don't take control of the game then I think you are going to get into a situation where challenges become more and more dangerous.
And I can't believe a challenge I saw today. A two-footed challenge on a prostrate player right into his midriff and the referee only booked him.
In his opinion the referee said it was a reckless challenge but only worthy of a caution.
