THEY HAVE VULNERABILITIES
County will enter the 'lion's den' on Saturday when they make their first-ever visit to Stadium MK.
The Dons are flying high at the top of League 2 on the back of eight consecutive victories but, although the Hatters go into the game on a run of four league defeats, Jim Gannon feels the clash is not the home banker many pundits are predicting.
Speaking to stockportcounty.com shortly before boarding the coach to Buckinghamshire earlier today (Oct 26) the County chief said: "There are a number of aspects that we should take as positives.
"We've been on that sort of run ourselves and there is a strong sense of self belief and confidence, but on the other side there may be a little bit of complacency.
"I'd like to think they'd be professional enough to go out and treat us like any other game because they are a solid outfit.
"They are only a Second Division team, though, they aren't world beaters.
"Reading our reports and seeing the footage they've got a couple of key players that are making them tick and turning draws into wins.
"They have been very, very solid over the last eight or nine games but from what I have seen there are vulnerabilities.
"What we need to do is make sure we are as tight and solid as we can be and give ourselves a chance by playing some football and not giving the ball away so needlessly."
